I love knowing I’m a part of something God-sized. I love knowing that what I’m doing counts for eternity.
As Christians, there’s nothing more fulfilling than knowing we’re being used by God to accomplish His purposes. And through a broad range of ministries with Africa Inland Mission, both men and women from all different walks of life are finding deep fulfillment as they use their gifts and abilities to help build the kingdom of God in Africa.
Three Great Ways To Serve:
Africa Inland Mission has short and long-term assignments in a vast array of ministry roles. Both assignments have the ultimate goal of helping to see our vision achieved:
Christ-centered Churches Among All African Peoples
Tell us your ministry interests so we can explore together how God can use you to build His church in Africa.
Ignite – Short Term:
AIM Canada’s Ignite Short Term program includes ministry opportunities on teams or through individual placements. Throughout the application process our Provincial Mobilizers will work with you to determine which specific placement will fit your personal gifts, training and passion. Offering a broad range of ministry assignments, Ignite provides an excellent opportunity to learn firsthand what missions is all about and to explore your role in God’s worldwide work.
Ignite assignments vary depending on your interests and the needs on the field. Learn more about Ignite Short Term ministry here.
Training in Ministry Outreach (TIMO):
TIMO is both a training program for new missionaries and an opportunity to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to one of Africa’s unreached people groups.
Teams consist of 6 to 12 members in addition to team leaders— usually an experienced missionary couple. They live among a host people group for two years, learn the local language, study mission outreach through a defined curriculum, and apply what they learn in their community on a daily basis. Learn more about TIMO here.
Full Term opportunties are for those who want to invest in longer-term ministry. These opportunities range from year to an entire career working in missions. Here at AIM, our Full Term assignments enable believers to use their gifts, training and life experience to make a difference in world missions. Full Term personnel form the foundation of the long term work of church planting among unreached African ethnic groups.
Assignment types and locations vary and placements are made in light of your ministry experience, gifts, training and skills, and interests. Learn more about Full Term ministries here.
