Ride for Refuge 2018

On September 29, people all over Canada will be gearing up for a great cause…

The Ride for Refuge is a family-friendly cycling and walking fundraiser that supports charities.  This year AIM is raising funds for Ben Fairburn, an AIM Air pilot. For the first time in our history there are five Canadian pilots preparing to go to Africa. We want to get those pilots on their way soon as the current situation in Central African Republic, as well as other areas is tragic. Due to violence Christians have been forced to flee their homes and villages. Presently there are thousands of people living under tarps in the bush and others still seeking shelter. AIM’s Air service has evacuated missionaries and in response to the violence has flown in relief supplies, tarps, and medical supplies to assist these displaced Africans.

We have 6 teams and 31 participants in various cities across Canada.  Their goal is to raise $15,000.  To help them in their support of AIM Air pilots, make a donation at https://rideforrefuge.org/charity/aimcanada
