November 1

Published on November 1, 2017 under prayer

The presidential elections that took place Kenya in August were later declared null and void by the High Court, due to “irregularities.” The new election took place on Thursday, Oct. 26th. Pray for peace and calm to prevail in the whole country during the aftermath. There have already been demonstrations in some cities over the last couple of weeks. Some influential and powerful people are trying to incite segments of the population to violence and disrespect of the law. Pray that when the results are announced, evil will be thwarted and God will be honored. Pray that believers in this country will be salt and light among their families, friends, neighbors, and even those from different tribes, and actively promote peace in word and deed. Pray that the fear many are feeling in these uncertain times, will direct the nation’s attention to the LORD in humility and prayer, as they seek His face (2 Chronicles 7:14).
